Membership FAQs
- When does the membership year run?
- The membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June each year. New members joining mid-year pay the full annual fee.
- Can anyone become an Associate member?
- Yes. Associate membership is open to everyone, regardless of military service. No sponsor is required.
- Can I visit other RSA clubs?
- Yes. As a member of the Birkenhead RSA you have reciprocal visiting rights at affiliated RSA and returned-services clubs throughout New Zealand.
- How do I get my membership card?
- Your card is posted to you after your application is processed. For online payments, this typically takes two to three business days. For bank transfer payments, please email us after transferring so we can process your application promptly.
- What if I need the postal renewal sticker?
- When renewing by bank transfer, add $2.00 to your payment to cover postal delivery of the renewal sticker.
- How do I renew my membership?
- Pay the annual fee by bank transfer to the renewal account shown in the "Renew your membership" section below, quoting your membership card number as the reference.
